Prior to beginning this project, the client had a live website which they wished to revamp entirely as it wasn't meeting their expectations when it came to the design, content and performance.
The client was requested to gather and share a few brands and their websites that they were inspired by. On my part, I tried to identify companies locally that provided similar services, but was unable to find any until I broadened the search internationally and found a few companies that fit the bill.
There was a company whose services were so similar to that of Professional Pyramid that the client wanted us to strictly follow the design language and content shown on their website while adding our own twist.

The technologies used for creating the Professional Pyramid website have been selected with certain criteria in mind. These include the speed at which each page loads, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) friendliness, enhanced power on low-power devices, performance optimization, and developer-friendliness.
The new website has been created with NextJS, a React-based frontend framework, known to help with the creation of full-stack web apps and is used by some of the world’s largest companies such as Nike, Netflix, Target, AT&T, and so many more.
The website has also been hooked with other modern tech such as node.js for server-side, PostgreSQL as the database, and Contentful as the headless Content Management System (CMS) that allows for easy blog post management.
THIRD-PARTY INTEGRATIONS
As per the clients request, the website has also been integrated with several third-party apps such as:
- Contentful CMS: A Headless Content Management System that helps with the creation of blog articles and resources. Their interface is sleek, performant and user-friendly.
- NeonDB: A fully managed serverless Postgres-compatible database, housing data pertaining to the jobs shown on the website.
- Railway: The server, which is powered with 8GB RAM and 8 vCPU per service, has been deployed to the Railway platform. This is more than enough power based on the current server-based needs that can be scaled as required.
